X-Alp Summit, not for narrow feet!
Looks like a solid shoe for bike packing. Tread perfect for hike-a-bike, Boa great. Heel fit snug. Unfortunately way too wide in the forefoot like all Pearl Izumi shoes I’ve tried on. Tried them on at home and instantly knew I had to return them. I bought Size 46. Reviews said they run a half size small. I usually use Giro in size 45. 5 = 11. 5. These 46’s felt like an 11. 5 in length. Good luck.

Great Gravel Shoe!
Great shoe for casual gravel biking and hike a bike situations. Easy walking, comfortable, allows good power transfer when it's needed. I think these would be great for touring as well! Sizing: 43. I typically wear an 8. 5 wide in US sizes. The 43 seems to have a little bit of toe room but the 42 felt really tight. A 42. 5 probably would have been perfect, but they don't seem to make half sizes in this shoe.

I absolutely love these shoes! These shoes are all day comfortable for trail riding, other brands were too narrow making even short rides a chore, my feet would get numb and hurt. The pearl Izumi X-alp summit shoes are the complete opposite, they are stiff enough for mountain bike/trail rides yet comfortable like regular tennis shoes. Please don't stop making these!
