Great for long rides

All these decades later, Pearl Izumi is still the best. Great padding correctly placed and love the side pockets. Material dries quickly.

It seems like a reasonably good short but...

My old XXL shorts fit more snugly, and do not ride up as high on the waist. I've got a bit of a belly so this works great, and they stay snug where they need t ostay snug. But the new model feels like it slides down and I get that "too-full-diaper" sag
