Cast All Your Cares Embroidery Kit

Needs a few improvements

The art is pretty but there are a few things that could be improved. I got the Cast All Your Cares kit. First the kit is a bit cheap looking, as if not a whole lot of care and thought went into putting the kits together, plain white cardboard box, only instructions are on a QR code that you constantly have to go back to on your phone multiple times throughout the week while you’re doing your project. A little inconvenient for me. The instructions themselves were missing some details that you kind of had to figure out yourself. Also, the template that is printed onto the canvas is a little thick lined, so when you’re embroidering on it you can still see the black lines showing at the end product. The advertising photo of the product looks much better than when I was finished because it doesn’t have the template on there like the kit you buy. I would say figure out a way to print the template on the canvas, but in smaller or thinner lines. At the end, I realized that on my canvas the template has a line that goes all the way around the art, something the advertising photo (even the instructional photo) does not have. I realized that’s why my end product didn’t look as good, I ended up having to embroider a color on it, as the instructions don’t reference anything about it. All in all, I enjoyed the project but can say it definitely needs improvements before I would buy again, especially at these prices.

Phenomenal kits

This was our first purchase from Elly and Grace, and also our first time trying embroidery. The kit included everything we needed to get started (except scissors). My 12-year-old daughter and I worked on this during our RV trip over Christmas, and it was such a fun activity to do together. The instructions were easy to access through the link, and learning the different stitches and knots was super simple and beginner-friendly. Being a Christian company and offering Christian-themed sets made it even more meaningful for us, and we loved that extra touch.
