Very convenient for foamless installations, I’ve been installing switches without plate foam from my own personal method for years that it really helps to have this around when you have a more sensitive custom to work on. This plate support fork works especially well for heavier mounting plates like copper or brass where it’s less time consuming to personally level the plate in adjacent to the PCB for clean switch insertion.
