Floor sensor

Bought as a backup to the sensor that came with the kit. This should be included with the kit , since the instructions recommend installing a backup!

Why Wasn't It Included In the Kit?

My experience was frustrating with the entire unit (cable, controller, 1 temp sensor). No install instructions. Finally found them online. I read that I should order a spare sensor to install in case the first one breaks. Folks: it's an $8 part. If it's recommended, include it in your $250+ kit! Heck, make it a $258 kit if you have to. It took a week to get this second sensor, during which construction was halted. Frustrating!

In-floor sensor

This sensor was substantially better quality then the one that my customers purchased on Amazon in floor heating kit.Would recommend installing 2 sensors to avoid one not working after pouring a floor leveler.Cheap insurance when you think of the alternative.
