Replacement for broken cable

Cable is nice but on my case wasn’t useable with a lot of work. I had the older style cable which has the red end that plugs into the lamp built with no AMP connector. You can’t order a replacement red plug for connection to the and the red plug is “super glued”together so splitting the connector needs a lot of care and patience to dismantle. Now I have to make new connections inside the red end (the original wires were crimped to metal plugs that can’t be reused so I had to use small bolts and circle crimps and add an AMP connector to the other. The AMP connectors are good and offer more flexibility but it takes some time to make up the new cable.
