Needs More Aging
My only criticism of an otherwise very good boubon fruitcake is it too moist ie needs more aging, as otherwise cake falls apart on slicing even when sliced right out of refrigerator cold.

Very dense
This is a unique fruitcake, its dense and full of fruit, nuts and flavor, just a small piece is enough to satisfy you, and its special that it’s made by monks, I love to support these very special men and their monastery. Will order this again

Flavorful fruitcake
This fruitcake is very similar to the one I used to make. It uses dried fruit instead of candied fruit. I really like the bourbon that is used. Very rich and mellow flavored. We tried it last year and are back for it again this year! This time we bought 2!
