Handy!
I don't trust heat-erasable pens. I have a vision of some descendent pulling out a treasured heirloom only to find it covered with brown squiggles. By contrast, I'm confident that water-erasable pens actually erase (I could be wrong). I've been using the Chacopen blue and white water-erasable pen, but it seemed a shame to keep paying for new ones when just the white water half was empty. THIS IS THE SOLUTION! It allows me to erase lines precisely with either a little or a fair amount of (free) water. It now lives in the jar next to my elbow wherever I'm working.

This is such a great thing to have in your tool box. Easy to use, especially in a small area.
