The shoes are okay. The return policy is tough, as I experienced when I ordered the wrong size in error. It was if the customer service person was detached from all the nice texts and the nice things that they say on their website. The shoes I bought in error were clearly worn but the customer service person was insistent that what I saw was just " normal" , because they use natural hides. The difference between natural scar marks and wear is pretty obvious....I have other barefoot shoes where I distinctly feel everything underneath my feet which makes me choose carefully where to put my feet down. The soles on these are a little tougher, which might actually be welcomed for some. They seem to be well made, the color is pretty If you are just starting out with barefoot shoes these are pretty good place to start, just beware of the customer service! My rating is based on that interaction.
