Hanging In There
I am a Cpap user and have a nasal pillow mask. Lucid mouth tape is a little large for my mouth and has way too much adhesive. After the first night using, in the morning I had a really hard time removing it because of the amount of adhesive. It almost felt like it was taking the skin off my lips. It also left black pieces around my mouth & it was hard to get the remaining adhesive off my face. I read the information more closely and found if I pressed the strip gently to the back of my hand once or twice before applying, it would soften the adhesive for easier removal. I used lip balm and pressed the strip to my hand twice as recommended and it did actually help. I still had a lot of excess adhesive around my mouth but at least it came off easily from my lips. But my skin where I plan to hang in there with the strips and try to take more adhesive off and see if that works. I tried Lucid once before and didn't have this problem. I think they need to improve the adhesive or maybe have different strength options.

Way too adhesive - gave me a bloody lip
I have tried a few generic looking brands on Amazon and decided to try Lucid to see if it was somehow better. Unfortunately, my experience has been worse. Something about this adhesive needs work - its way too strong on first use, somewhat weak on second day, and almost unusable by the third. It's so strong that it peeled the skin off my lip this morning and left me with a raw/bloody lip. Other days pieces of the black fabric get stuck to my face after I pull it off and I have to scrape them off with a nail. Never happened with the other tapes I've tried.

Too strong?
They stay in place all night! But I feel like I’m ripping my face off when I remove it in the morning. They also smell weird. This is my first time using mouth tape so maybe that’s normal. Overall they work, but my mouth hurts after ripping it off three days now.
