Great Film

I think we first heard this mentioned on the Pure Cinema Podcast, and it did not disappoint. A truly great and haunting film.

Coming of Age

Falcon Lake is the first feature length film from Charlotte Le Bon, and has Sara Montpetit, who did Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person, after this film. The film may be viewed as a little slow, but the scenery is beautiful. I recently picked up the superb slipcover for this coming of age flick, which, though initially a blind buy, ended up making my favorite viewings of the year list. 8/10
