Smocked Ruffle Tiered Mini Skirt

My daughter loves the style of this skirt and I love that it has built in shorts. However, I was surprised by the washing instructions. To be fair, we accidentally ran it through the washer and dryer, but when I looked at the care instructions on the tag after thinking we had made a mistake, it says "dry clean only". I was so surprised that an item of children's clothing require dry cleaning. I see here on the website, can instructions are different, though. Long story short, very very cute, but I wish the fabric was less fussy.
