2006-2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC Wagon Rear Suspension Conversion Kit (MI2RB)

The air suspension in the back of our 2008 Mercedes station wagon was great when the car was young, but it failed once and had to be repaired and was failing again. We intend to keep this car for the long haul, and opted to replace the stock rear suspension with a shocks and coil springs conversion kit. My order came quickly, delivered to Precision Alignment in Zionsville, Indiana who did the installation. With its new rear suspension the ride height is back to where it should be and the handling is much improved. The parts were a bargain compared to OEM, and I’m confident that the rear suspension won’t fail again.

Easy to install and great ride quality

I like now not having to worry with the air shocks and related parts maintenance with this conversation. The handling on curves is great but there is a bounce in the rear that seems to be a little much. It may just take a little getting use to but I’m thinking that stronger shock absorbers would cure this. Overall glad I made the switch.
