Installing these struts was a piece of cake as I've been a Volvo mechanic since 1977. When removing the old struts, the upper sway bar link is pressed into the strut housing which took some time to figure out how to take apart, ended up using a power saw on the old housing which worked out. The new struts have been on the El Dorado for 4 months now and 90% happy with my purchase, that being said, personally I would have made these a little more Heavy Duty because of the weight of the front end. I guess the main question is... would I buy these struts again? YES, I would.
