Build Your Own - BJJ GI

This is the third gi I have purchased from Summo for myself. I messed up the custom sizing on the first order, and the gi was not wide enough to accommodate my midsection. Not the fault of Summo, but they were quick to help me get the process going to order a new one with the correct size jacket width. Despite the first one being snug, it looked amazing and was really well made. The embroidery looks great as well, with my school's logo being a fairly complex one, Summo made it look amazing on both the chest and across the back. I know this gi will serve me well, as the other gi I have from Summo have held up incredibly well. I really appreciate the custom sizing for these gi, as I was able to get everything exactly how I wanted it. The style I teach blends striking, throwing and grappling, so having the sturdiness of a BJJ gi with the cut and fit of a Karate style gi really works well for me. Plus, my wife did not have to alter my gi like she normally does with any other gi I have purchased. Well done, Summo! I recommend your gi to everyone. I will no doubt order again, maybe even try out your Karate 14 oz. gi next! Osu!

The design process was so easy and the quality of the gi is amazing! This was a birthday gift and it was a huge hit. The only drawback I can mention is that I got a notification that my order had shipped, but it didn't actually ship for 10 more days, which cut it awfully close to my deadline. But it got here in time!

Bought this for my husband, and we're happy with it. For the price, it's good. Only complaint is that the stitching in the sleeves by the wrist, is very itchy and irritating no matter what we do. It does shrink if you dry it, but that's expected with GIs, we actually needed it to shrink and now it fits pretty well.
