This was generally a well thought out and educational kit. My grandchildren, aged 7 and 10, became totally immersed in following the process. The instructions were pretty good but omitted at least one key detail. As an adult I didn't find this difficult to infer but I sense that a teenager might have struggled with this. Therefore I suggest that you review the instructions if you wish to improve a good activity yet further. The end result was very good. The crystals grew very nicely and the youngsters loved assembling the final object. Overall a very worthwhile purchase bought as a Christmas present last year.

I love giving this as a gift to my son's friends - add a side of astronaut ice cream and they have fun, learn something and get an "immersive" space moment!
