Looks good but doesn't work

I bought the upgraded scanner thinking it would be nice to have additional scanning and tuning capabilities but the scanner will not do the one thing I bought it for; disengage the EPB so I can replace the rear pads on my 2017 VW Touareg. I emailed support and they said to plug it into my laptop and update the software. Tried but it just says to do related operations on your computer. What? Where? tried to contact support through chat at 9:05 pacific and they are closed. Not helpful. Going to return it and go with something locally available. Too bad. Fit and finish looks excellent.

So far so good! And I like how it let me code my battery for my Audi! Trying to pass smog after I let the car sit for a while. This seems to help. Looks like I’m ready to go again we shall see.
