Quite nice, but not the egg pictured

This egg is quite beautiful in person, I like it very much but I had to knock down the stars to 4 because it’s not the egg I ordered. I bought this egg, but the egg does not match up to the pictures. There are two main things, the first is that the base of the egg is completely different than what is shown in these photos. There’s no thick light purple lines like it shows in the photos. I was disappointed with the different base. Next, the egg does not open nearly as far as it shows in the photos. It opens just barely enough to get the flower basket in and out. The other difference between the real version and the one shown in photos is that the inside of the egg is a purple metallic swirl and not that bright yellow shown in the photos, but I don’t mind that. Other than that I think the egg is pretty. The gold and purple is a very “royal” color scheme and yes, it may be small, but I actually really love the smaller Faberge reproduction eggs because they feel like little jewels! It’s a great egg, but look at my included pictures to see the actual thing you’ll be buying. I’d suggest to Bestpysanky that if an egg’s design is modified that they update their photos on their website so that customers know exactly what they’re buying.
