It’s a disappointment it needs batteries. I bought one years ago and all I need to do is plug it in without batteries to twinkle. I still have it and it works well. Otherwise, the one I purchased was a gift. It was shipped in a timely manner and tracking was easy.

Love these trees but wish they would use the battery under the stand instead of wires and battery box but they are beautiful

The tree twinkles at warp speed. The lights are too bright. Tree light reflection on the wall resembles a disco ball. Not the look I wanted for my Victorian Village. The grandkids and friends think it is cool. The Dept 56 website did not give a sufficient description of twinkle.
