Ended up perfect for our home! Made the stairs 1000% better, we were all slipping down the stairs prior to carpet. My husband installed it in about 4 hours with minimal help from me. We have no experience with carpet installation but the videos explained it thoroughly so we did EXACTLY as he did and had no issues. It made the stairs very comfortable to run up and down without shoes. My kids play safely on the stairs now. We are almost two months w/new carpet , it’s been a muddy spring with one teen + friends, 2 young kids, 4 dogs and general farm life and the carpet is showing no dirt or wear yet. It fit the aesthetic so perfectly!

We need our two staircases carpeted quickly and Direct Carpet helped the process move efficiently and smoothly. The online helped me to be certain I was ordering the correct size and amount. We opted to have a professional install our runners and it was straight forward, but if we had the tools we feel like we could have installed the product ourselves. The carpet was cut and bound ready to be installed. The padding came cut for each stair. Our installer brought tack strip and trimmed the padding to fit. Two full staircases, one with a landing completed by a professional in 5 hours.
