Light doesn't work
This building is charming, but unfortunately, it's more evidence of how the company's quality has decreased over time. They have had great difficulty with their lighting equipment. LED lights don't fit into the holes in older buildings... this LED light just doesn't work. Came out of the box nonfunctional. Haven't been able to find a workaround. Ruins the whole building. Customer service is awful. Years ago, someone at Dept. 56 who was knowledgeable about the products would answer. Now, the people answering calls and emails are employees of the parent company that know very little about Dept. 56. Shame.
