Adapter wasn’t the problem

I purchased a new Village Animated Skating Pond 4 years ago. The previous pond lasted me 21 years! I went to set up my Snow Village this Christmas and the pond was not working. I ordered the adapter, thinking that would take care of it. The adapter was not the issue. I, very carefully, pried the glued on bottom to the pond, off. The entire inside of the pond is comprised of plastic parts! It was apparent the issue was the motor and it was glued down with a heavy duty glue. There is no way to repair these ponds so if you want a working pond, you have to buy a new one. Very unhappy with the quality that goes into the ponds!!!

Dont really know. Had to send back since didnt quite fit and my flying santa still didnt work. Dont know if something wrong with santa instead, so no preference one way or the other.
