[Replacement] Parts and Accesories, Control Board for 3018-PROVer V2

Needs Work

This item was bought so that I could review my created software programs at my office desk instead of going to the shop and using the shop CNC. Upon receiving the item the first thing I found was that the only item in the box was the board. There was no cable to attach it as was shown in the photo. I reported this to SainSmart and since then they fixed the ad by removing the cable from the photo. I purchased my cable to continue in the process of using the board. I was also disappointed to find there was not a page of instruction included for using the board. Since I received the board I have viewed several You Tube videos on setting up the board and so far I have had no success. The board is plugged in to my computer, the red light is on but I (nor my son who works at and is a programmer) have been able to get the board to function. I have yet to formally notify SainSmart of the problem but I know that their agent, Cassie, who has been very helpful in the past, will work me through this problem or let me return it.
