Fire Watch Colombian Medium Roast

Great flavor

We recently unsubscribed from another veteran owned coffee company for “reasons”. Decided to give Ariel Resupply a try and were not disappointed! You guys gained another subscriber.

Not for me

I wanted to like this roast but I'm just not into overly fruity hints and what tastes to me like a very lightly roasted "medium" coffee. Tastes very similar to a Tim Hortons brew that I recently forced my way through. Moving onto something with a darker roast and a bolder coffee flavor.

Mildly Suspicious of Houseplants

Ordered on the strength of the marketing, which manages the rare feat of being veteran-owned without the obligatory tactical skull motif or thinly veiled invitation to a culture war. The coffee showed up. I made coffee. So far, so good. Then I drank the Fire Watch. Not sure what they're doing in Colombia, but this medium roast hits like someone shook me awake at 0200 and told me the perimeter was breached. One cup at 0700. By 1500, I was still buzzing; alert, productive, mildly suspicious of houseplants. Turns out "Fire Watch" is accurate marketing, not a clever name. The flavor is balanced enough that I didn't have to apologize to it. A medium roast that actually tastes like a medium roast; not a light roast in witness protection, not a dark roast that lost its nerve. Clean packaging, on-target branding, and a mission I'm happy to throw money at: supporting veterans and first-responders without dragging everyone through the discourse to do it. Came for the marketing, stayed for the caffeine, resupplying soon.
