i loooove that the cover is removable and machine washable! I bought this for sitting on picnic blankets with others and for sitting in pop-up shade tents while working remotely at the park or beach. it's nice to have a low chair to sit at the same level as others who are on the ground, and to use the ground itself as a footrest. there are alternative options that fold in half for better portability and that have backpack straps, but none of those options had machine washable removable covers, so this felt worth the tradeoff for me. but just be aware that it won't fold in half (a 90 degree angle is as far as this goes).

Purchased as a gift for my mother and she loves it. Super comfortable and gives you the option to recline on the beach! Waterproof fabric seems durable and should keep the inner components from rusting
