Hits the Spot Like a Good Espresso Should

I gave a lot of thought and did quite a bit of research before adding the Brew Espresso Chronograph to my collection. I must say, I was delighted from the moment I opened the box. The watch is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Many reviewers have given the Brew Chronograph top marks and so my expectations were high. But, the watch really delivers in form, function and, yes, fun. Like a good cup of espresso, it really hits the spot.

Beautiful in person! The finishing is good for the price and the leather strap is soft and comfortable. The dial has a lovely sunburst effect that works really well with the rose gold tone of the case. My only complaint is that the sapphire crystal could use some more anti reflective coating to really show off that dial.

The Brew Retrograph Espresso is one of those rare watches that immediately stands out without trying too hard. The warm espresso dial has incredible depth, and the subtle color variations catch the light beautifully. It has a vintage-inspired aesthetic that feels unique while still being versatile enough to wear with everything from jeans to business casual. The finishing is excellent for the price point. The case, bracelet, and dial details all feel thoughtfully executed, and the meca-quartz chronograph delivers a satisfying, crisp pusher feel while keeping the watch practical and worry-free. The coffee-inspired design cues give it plenty of personality without becoming gimmicky. Comfort has also been outstanding. It wears smaller than the dimensions suggest, making it an easy all-day watch, and I’ve received more compliments on it than many watches that cost significantly more. If you’re looking for something different from the typical dive watch or sports chronograph, the Brew Retrograph Espresso delivers exceptional value, distinctive design, and everyday wearability. It’s an easy five-star watch that has earned a permanent place in my collection.
