Improper Hardware Installation
I got an ACON AIR 16 SPORT HD for my granddaughter for Christmas 2024. I was going to assemble the trampoline, but decided for expediency, I’d hire an approved assembler via the ACON websites link to assemblers in our area. The assemblers were accommodating and prompt, but about 4 weeks after the assembly, the support arms for the safety net became very loose. I knew I’d need to occasionally check the hardware to insure it was secure and not loose, but what I found was unacceptable, and especially after paying $700 for the assembly. During assembly, the assemblers damaged all 16 spacers required by the support arm hardware, damaged 11 of the 16 nuts, stripped 2 bolts and only used 1 washer out of the 32 required. There were only 5 spacers installed and they were damaged, while the others were missing, but I eventually found the broken pieces of the remaining 11 scattered in the grass around the trampoline. Unacceptable installation job, but that’s another story to send to customer service. I immediately ordered a new hardware set for the net support from ACON and promptly received that set and installed them one afternoon. It’s not difficult, the quality of the tooling is good and the instructions are simple. Nice to have the trampoline safely assembled now the way it was designed and intended. Wish I’d saved $700 in the first place and done it myself, but you live and learn. If you want the job done right, set the time aside to do it yourself.
