MELTED BISCUITS

Since they arrived in the middle of a heat wave, the chcolate on the biscuits had melted, welding them into a solid block. As I took them directly from the hands of the postman and didn't sit for a period in a letter box or the open, I can only assume they were exposed to heat in transit, which suggests indifferent packaging.
