Dream dress

The pattern was easy to follow and uses a clever design to create the flowing folds in the overskirt. I added some length to the bodice as I was making for a Ruby Red doll which is slightly taller. The gathering up of the overskirt is tricky and my dress doesn't drape quite as well as the picture. The chiffon I used in the overskirt draped beautifully and I hoped not to hem it but it frayed so I had to do a fine hem. The pattern produces a really lovely glamorous dress.
