14” A Night in the Cabin - cute

Beginning knitter - this hat is very cute, but mine came out too big. Not sure why, I’ve been told I knit tight and I used number 4 yarn and size 7 circular needles. You can see in my photo I rolled the edge back so it fits the doll a little better. I also included the yarn I used so you can see it is the medium (4) weight. Overall the pattern has great pictures and the instructions.
