The paper in this book is so incredibly cheap, it surely can’t last more than five years. The acid in the ink will eat the paper. I bought this book for my collection where I already have a couple of other translations.
I was in Barnes & Nobles yesterday. The book is selling on their “just arrived” table for $21.00.
I haven’t read the book yet, just a few excerpts but it does appear to be an appealing translation.

Hillsdale ordering process was no trouble at all. The book arrived earlier than promised, and I received frequent text updates as the book moved through their logistical process.
Now I have the book and will queue it up to read. I bought it because of the wide variety of movie reviews about the new movie The Odyssey. It thought I would be an informed movie consumer if I choose to view it. Also, I plan on starting the Hillsdale course by the same name, for the same purpose.

Thought this would be dry and difficult but...
I am happily surprised at how readable and fascinating the story is. I also enjoy seeing how similar human nature was thousands of years ago to modern day society.
