I had such high expectations

Something about this polish compelled me to throw it in my cart during a sale. I was expecting a deep navy, but this polish is nearly black. I did a test swatch next to Straight Up Black and I couldn't tell the difference without a bright light. I can see replacing black to tone down the contrast, especially for night skies, space, and deep oceans. But I wouldn't recommend buying this color unless it was on sale or part of a bundle. You can get nearly the same impact with black.
