A great Microphone for use with a GoPro

I purchased this microphone because my two previous Movo purchases (an X3-ll shotgun microphone and a LV-4 Lavalier kit) were outstanding. I used this Double mic to film that national protest on 4/6/25. It provided broadcast quality using the “Dead Cat” windscreen. A word of warning, the curly mic cable has a way of inching its way into he frame. A piece of gaffer tape fixed the issue. I’m very happy I purchased this mic.

Microphone holder is not level, points the mic down

I haven’t used the mic so I can’t comment on its sound qualities but I am disappointed that it is either weighted in an unbalanced fashion or the groove for the red plastic shock mount to grab it is too far to the rear, or the shock mount is defective because the mic is not level, it points downward. This might be the way it is designed to work but that is what I think of what I see at this point in its use.

Double shotgun mic

It’s so nifty, I love the compact size and how crisp everything sounds. Only problem I have is the red holder being too tight, it feels like it’s going to break. Other than that, amazing.
