Retrospekt CP-81 Portable Cassette Player

I wanted a straightforward cassette player, and this one is awesome! If you want an easy way to play your cassettes, I highly recommend this cassette player. I started falling into a rabbit hole when researching which cassette player to get, but then I decided to just bite the bullet and get this one. I'm happy I did! I will say the headphones don't feel comfortable on my ears, but that has always been the case for these sorts of headphones. I still think this is a 5-star product.

I bought the cp-81 two years ago and it worked splendidly until I dropped it a few weeks back. I must have jarred something inside because from that point on the tapes sounded warped. I fiddled around with it but had no success getting it to sound normal. I googled all of the Sony Walkmans you had on your site trying to figure out which one would sound at least as good as the cp-81. I decided to order another cp-81 as I knew I would be happy with it. And I am happy with it. I am impressed with your professional packaging and the time it took for me to receive the player. At some point I may send the old one back to you for repair. I would have done that but I didn't want to wait for it to get fixed. I am grateful for your existence. I listen to the cassette player quite frequently and it is my preferred option for music enjoyment. Thank you

Needed a new cassette player .. couldn't afford ebay prices .. this was the fix ! They knocked it out of the park ! 10/10 would recommend
