Good starter kit for face and body
Katrina · June 9, 2025
Multiple happy purchases; good value
I’ve been using this kit of dermarollers for a few years, at this point. It’s really difficult for me to say, for sure, it’s “doing” anything. But I can say, it doesn’t seem to be harming me. I find the product is very good value. My first set was .25, .25, and .50. My large roller broke, oddly enough (after 2+ years), so I used that excuse to get the next level up: .50, .50, and 1.00. I recently bought two more of the 1.00 sets, because I have multiple residences, and wanted to keep a set at each. (I also bought the all-in-one, for travel.) If there is a down side (besides the inherent microtearing of a roller), is the fact there’s no good way to clean the rollers.…At least, not that I’ve found. Because I diligently soak each roller in rubbing alcohol before and after each use, I didn’t think much about cleaning, that is, until I bought new towels. I dermaroll after a shower, once a week. I went to do that, one day, and noticed my large roller looked fuzzy. Eventually, I realized my new towels were leaving some lint on my skin, and it was getting caught in the roller. But now what? That’s partly why I bought the new sets…in case I decide to discard the fuzzy set. (I did an okay job of removing the fuzz, using tweezers. Now, I don’t towel off the areas where I’ll be dermarolling. Seems to be working. More-laundered towels don’t do this.) I expect to keep returning to Angel Kiss to purchase my microneedling products. Good value, two-week shipping to Canada, and the product is as advertised.
