GVM GR-80QD Professional Video Carbon Fiber Motorized Camera Slider (32")

After 7 days since I received the slider, I still can't use it. It came with a defective remote control and I still don't have an answer from GVM when the problem will be solved. I am very disappointed with the situation, and I am still thinking about whether to return it and buy a slider from another manufacturer. Update: The problem has been resolved by GVM send me another remote after 13 days from the first email send with the problem. The slider works fine, is a great tool for photo and video!

This is a nice piece of equipment

I have been wanting a slider for a while and I investigated many. I did not have a large budget. Sliders without a motor are the lowest price, but I am not confident that I can push it manually and get a smooth motion. The motorized ones that I saw were not within my budget. But this one has the motor and was in my budget. I don't have an iphone and don't want one. This unit does not require an app. So far I have used it a bit to experiment and I like the results. My intended use is product photography.
