Delicious iced
I love to mix purple rain with more purple leaf tea to make a delicious iced tea with lemonade (1 part lemonade to 3 parts brewed tea). Even at that concentration, the purple rain flavors are sweet and prominent, and it turns a gorgeous blush red after adding the lemonade. It has a dry mouthfeel/aftertaste similar to drinking wine or cider, so it's excellent if you want a yummy non-alcoholic beverage like that. It's hard to describe how refreshing and delicious it is, the tartness of the hibiscus and lemongrass with the floral notes of the tea and the sweetness of the passion fruit flavor are a truly elevated drink. Must try! and my kids like it too. I probably enjoy it too much. Purple rain is delicious on its own but I just love the flavor of purple tea, so I add more. It is going to be a staple in our house over the summer. The lemongrass is top quality and so uplifting. I love it in their turmeric ginger tea as well.
