I finally accepted that lotions are no more than slightly thickened water and so I decided to make my own moisturizing bars. I ordered the shea butter as well as mango, avocado and kokum butters. I’ve been experimenting with different combinations to create creamy butter bars and they’re outstanding! Such a silky, luxurious texture and so much better than lotion.
