Stitching to attach the skirt was not stretchy

This is a very cute dress. I bought the size that goes up to 24 months for my niece who wears 18 month clothes right now. It was hard to get it on her because the stitching that attaches the skirt to the top had no give. They should have used a stretchy stitch. Getting it on the first time resulted in lots of stitches popping, but there was no other way to get it on her. She is built very thin and many 18 month clothes are generous on her. I would definitely size up and I would recommend they change how this is made.

This dress is perfection! The tulle is super soft and not itchy, the fabric is butter soft and the print is so so cute!
