Lovely dress needing a few fixes

I went through route of ordering a sample dress for sizing. I actually loved the dress and color they sent. I ordered mine in a similar color and the same size. It is a beautiful, good quality velvet, and a nicely lined. My only issues are the top does not fit exactly the same as the sample so I will need to get it altered. The back zipper was sewn such that there is a lump at the base of the zipper . I think it was not installed quite right and I will have to have it fixed as well. I can definitely work with the dress and have time to get it fixed, but was a little disappointed in the quality of this versus the sample.

At home try on

Shipment came in reasonable amount of time. Easy to return. It was great to get to try them on. I didn’t like how the dress looked on the model but I thought maybe it was just her. Nope I just didn’t like the dress lol

Decided I preferred the Satin material for our daughters wedding
