These wrap hooks are well-forged and look great. They are also good value compaired to others. However, my first use after slightly re-bending them resulted in the fragile bronze pins breaking. To prevent this, I recommend shortening the pins (which are to long) as soon as possible upon arrival using metal snips. This will create a shorter hooked ‘beak’ that can then be sharpened with a file for easier fabric insertion. For frequent use, a slight design modification is needed to avoid metal fatigue and inevitable pin breakage, which would otherwise result in a broken hook that’s too short.
