Switch One Electric Bike Kit w/ LCD Display (Wireless/Up to 55 Miles Range)

E-switchy one upgrades a 2008 Jamis Aurora! My bike had been gathering dust for a few years,as my knees are not so great. This kit is the answer. I had sorta been tempted by e-bikes but, expensive. This is a lot less. I just finished the install today. Motor is integrated into the front wheel that connects via Bluetooth to a controller on the handlebar - Elegant best describes the design. But read the “will it fit” site pages carefully. My forks were a “maybe”. Had to add washers and move them around a bit. The hub is asymmetric in that it’s wider on one side than the other. I could not center it absolutely true which necessitated a brake caliper adjustment which has softened my braking a tad. But these are nits in comparison to the functionality it has given my old bike. Overall, it works great! And what joy to ride again! You should plan to pedal (it’s not a moped), but it’s a lot easier on the knees. Does make some noise. But if I had to drag my 246 lbs up a hill I’d complain too, I guess. Highly recommend. Dig that bike out of mothballs and enjoy summer!

Solid product

I was a bit hesitant on buying the wireless wheel kit. I was worried that it would not have a good response. I was wrong, it response very well. The packaging could use some attention before leaving the warehouse, the cover for the electrical connection was damaged. Box was beat up on delivery. I purchased the 27.5 wheel kit for my hardtail front suspension bike. The rotor disc that came with the kit was smaller than the disc rotor on my bike. I had to make modifications so that the calipers sat properly. I feel that if you are mechanically inclined, you would have no problem installing the wheel kit. Great assist response when pedaling. If you plan on not pedaling this is not the kit for you. I’ve only taken my bike out a few times after the install and so far I am impressed. I’m debating whether I want to buy a conversion kit for my road bikes.

Summer just got a whole lot better

I love my e-switchy wheel. The range is perfect for the beach and I really like the clean look. I would recommend it to anyone.
