It is all it is as advertised. Not cheap, but much cheaper (and flexible) than a vocal booth. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it wasn’t clear that I had to dismantle the isolator for my condenser mic and use the main “ring” as the support for the eyeball. Should be made clearer on the website. That being said, would totally buy again!

I put my AKG 2000B into the Kaotica and recorded a new vocal track on a studio project that was just about ready for mixdown. I made a comparison with the previous vocal track that was recorded with the same mic without the Kaotica. While recording with the Kaotica, I noticed that I didn't have to turn up the vocals to hear it above the instruments; the vocals were cleaner and easier to hear. I also noticed that there were no sibilance or pops. The waveform of the Kaotica track was even with no extreme transients, like it was compressed, but it wasn't. The Kaotica track sounded cleaner and I noticed that all the room colorations and resonances were gone.

Extremely fast shipping and the item was exactly what I needed. I tried it out a couple different times before leaving the review and these things really are amazing.
