On a whim I purchased this when it was on sale. The clasp is unique and holds the bracket closed. It looks nice on the wrist. I wondered about the small bands between the symbols until I realized they hold the symbols in place and give some protection from being hit. If you have big wrists this may not fit. It just does close on mine
