SWAG 50" Finger Press Brake DIY Builder Kit

50 inch finger brake first thoughts.

I purchased the Swag 50 finger brake after looking at a few different brands and what could be done with all the options vs my budget that I could spend on a large brake. Swag was a clear winner for price but when I received this brake it was clear that the quality of the components was very high as well. The kit came with all the parts and directions, we'll packaged and had no damages. With the parts unpacked and directions in hand the brake assembled quickly. I also bought the gooseneck and hemming dies which were easy to assemble and weld. I have made a few bends with the brake and it performs very well

Needed product for the small shops

Iv been looking for a larger brake press that wasn't goint to break the bank. After a ton of research I found swag offroad. Though this product isn't plug and play and does require some elbow grease to put together. It's doable for most guys that know there way around a welder. Pros - it's 10x + less than industrial presses - it's modifiable - straight forward kit - tons of versatility with the fingers and shop needs. Cons - instructions need major updates on 50 in press. I'd love to see some detailed build videos from swag that can add tips to this large of a build. YouTube guys leave so much out and then want you to buy there build plans. -shipping needs improvement. Ups damaged the base plate and bent a end that needs pressed and forged down to work now. I'd recommend you guys crate the heavy base with wood and thick foam and metal band it together. Cardboard seems ridiculous with that heavy of a package and ups wouldn't hate you guys! Overall I'd recommend this product to others and appreciate swag resolution on the damaged ups package!

52" press brake

I am very impressed with the quality and size of the materials in building this press brake. Beautiful workmanship!!!! Looking forward to building the rest of the machine.
