Blue Yeti X Microphone Mount

3D Printed Mic for Blue Yeti X

I like the design and it mounts well to the 3/8” end point of the Blue Compass boom arm, but without the rubber bushings to hold the mic in place on other side, then this mic just rotates freely on its axis. I am in contact with Blue to see if they have some spare parts: those rubber bushings so that I can use them with this U shaped mount. If that doesn’t work, then I may have to retrofit it with some washers or something else to narrow the gap width that holds the mic. Although I was aware before ordering this that this U shaped mount was just the mount with no other mounting hardware, it would have been great if Desktop Cookies provided some of the mounting hardware accessories to make this mechanism work as designed. It’s a good product but it will require additional mounting hardware to work successfully that is not easy to find.
