Tie Front Button Up Crop

Construction Iffy

I bought a white tie front button-up crop for a trip to Hawai'i, grateful for the built-in SPF worn during hikes and beach days, where I used it as a cover-up. It stays wrinkle-free and the fabric is ok-breathable for being synthetic. I found the size chart to be misleading; based on my measurements I should have been a Medium, but I was an XL. Not surprised I had to exchange, follow your gut if the measurements don't seem accurate. My biggest concern: for the price, threads shouldn't be coming loose off of it after one wear. There were threads coming out at the sleeve and around one or two of the buttons. The sewing aka construction is cheap and I'm worried this shirt won't hold up. I'm a bit bummed because if the price reflected a well-sewn item that holds up over time, I would be singing the praises of this shirt and telling everyone to buy it. Unfortunately, the value isn't quite there.

Super cute top that is very well made. I love how light and breathable the material is.

The 2nd in a different color that I own. I love it! I can wear it professionally to work, for spf coverage on weekends, and generally any time it is cute and can work with any outfit.
