The roof suction seems a better option had purchased the window mounted system and it was just too cluttered to be effective for solo shooter. The roof mounted suction system allows me to mount the spotlight to sit sit back behind me and gives me plenty of room out front and to the side to shoot from. so much easier to poke my rifle out with out having to dodge round or through the spotlights mounting system
