I don't own any bootcut jeans but was intrigued with these. These are extremely comfortable for a "white" jean that can sometimes seem stiffer At 5'7" with the 32 inch inseam I will need to pair these with wedges. The slit at the hem allows these to gracefully fall over your chosen shoes. I went with the Liberty! I am quite comfortable in my tts in these jeans. I often size up for skinnies and down for boyfriends etc.
