I Have Never Spent $100+ on Shorts Before

But there is always a first time for everything! I was going on vacation to the Grand Cayman Islands and I wanted to have an outfit that was beach and lounge ready. Tombolo’s advertising algorithm finally caught up with me on Instagram. At first I was weary as a lot of these clothing sites promoted on IG are located out of the country. I was pleasantly surprised they were in the U.S. (shorter shipping/exchange & return times) and that they had a brick-and-mortar shop in NY! I bought the complete matching ’Water Sport' Cabana x Hôtel Magique outfit. I ordered the medium sized shorts. I have a muscular build and I like my shorts fitted. I was scared that the shorts would fit but the liner inside would hug my man parts too snug. The shorts fit perfectly with just enough room, but not so much that you feel like you are wearing a diaper when the shorts get wet! The shorts were well crafted with quality materials, and it was worth the spend. Really, I am not someone that would usually buy a $100+ pair of shorts—especially swim trunks! The shorts completed the look, and I was looking and feeling great.

I was disappointed. The materials are cheap. This stuff is made in China and way overpriced

These were way too snug even in the xxl and I cannot stand the liner. Board shorts got me spoiled!
